Find Out More About Hiring an Apprentice

Do you want to find out more about how apprenticeships could benefit your business?

The Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership’s Big Debates series turns its attention to apprenticeships next month, when two open discussions will take place in Sleaford and Lincoln.

The first will be staged at the New Life Centre on Mareham Lane in Sleaford on Thursday 2nd March, and this will be followed on Friday 24th March by a second event at the Lincolnshire Showground at Grange-de-Lings, north of Lincoln.

The debates will give employers the opportunity to find out about the positive impact apprentices can have in the workplace and have their questions answered by a panel of experts.

Those attending will also learn more about the apprenticeship grant for employers and have the opportunity to network.

The event is aimed at businesses who are not required to pay the Apprenticeship Levy and want to find out more about taking on an apprentice.

From 6th April 2017 employers with an annual pay bill of more than £3 million have to pay an Apprenticeship Levy each month charged at 0.5% of their annual pay bill.

Both events run from 9am until 11.30am, attendance is free and breakfast will be provided.
