Childcare group Fennies is opening its doors to prospective parents and welcoming special guest and award winning infant nutritionist, Annabel Karmel MBE.  

Fennies, which has eight nurseries, is hosting an open week for parents and carers to visit their nearest branch and meet the staff from 6^th until 10^th June.

On Saturday 11^th June, visitors to the Epsom and Horley branches of the childcare group will also have the chance to meet childhood food expert Annabel Karmel.

Parents and carers are invited to attend the open days at Fennies on Hook Road in Epsom and Albert Road in Horley from 10am.

Annabel Karmel will be at the Epsom branch from 10am until 11am, before heading to the Horley branch for 12 noon, to talk to parents and sign copies of her books. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own copies of her books for signing.

Director of Childcare Services for Fennies, John Warren, said: “We’ve teamed up with Annabel as part of our commitment to providing the best level of childcare and have subsequently increased the quality of the meals on offer for all of our children.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming her at two of our newest sites during our open week.”

Visitors at both sites will be given a tour of the facilities and be able to sample some of Annabel Karmel’s recipes.

Annabel is an award-winning author of books on nutrition and cooking for babies, infants and families. She is now recognised all over the world for creating delicious meals, focusing on nutrition, flavour and healthy eating.

Fennies recruited Annabel to work alongside their chefs in January 2016 to design a series of brand new nursery menus.

The unique menus, which cater to all dietary requirements, were introduced at all of Fennies’ nurseries in March 2016 to ensure that every child gets the nutrients they need for their development.
