All-in-one stock, warehouse and accounting management software specialists OrderWise made a successful exhibiting debut at The Pharmacy Show.

Running from 18th to 19th October at the NEC Birmingham, the show attracts the industry’s elite and OrderWise already supplies many pharmaceutical clients with its market-leading software.

Marketing Manager at OrderWise Jon Roberts said: ““We had a very successful couple of days and generated interest from a large number of established companies. We gained the attention of many multi-branch pharmacies that require a system to manage their back-of-house and online operations.”

This came alongside a large number of enquiries for the company from wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers as well as from other exhibitors, including some of the UK’s largest pharmaceutical distributors.

Jon added: “Many of the wholesalers and distributors were particularly interested in the 2D GS1 barcode scanning capabilities of our wireless mobile WMS (Warehouse Management) devices. These provide incredible accuracy and efficiency benefits for businesses with requirements to manage batch and expiry date information.”

The team also spoke to many wholesalers that had been informed by the MHRA (Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency) that they needed to update their systems to meet strict traceability and audit trail requirements. OrderWise delivers these as standard.

Jon continued: “It was great to see many of our existing customers within the pharmaceutical, veterinary and healthcare sectors exhibiting at the event. Several of our existing customers also took time out at the event to meet with us and catch up.

“It seems to have been a great success and we have already reserved our stand for the next show in 2016.”
