Shooting Star Gets Off to a Cool FAB Start in April!

Award-winning PR and marketing agency Shooting Star is continuing to grow after winning two clients this month.

Shooting Star, based in Lincoln and Bristol, has secured contracts with new clients Cool FAB Racing and AJ Purchasing and now has a record number of clients on its books, all part of its continued growth strategy across the UK.

Cool FAB Racing, which runs the Cool FAB Racing British Minibikes Championship, has tasked the agency with raising the profile of the competition and positioning it as the training ground for British and World superbike riders.

Several professional riders started out at a very young age competing in the FAB-Racing championship, including 2015 Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent, and it’s hoped that by raising the profile of the sport, more children and teenagers will get involved.

Crispin Vitoria, Managing Director of Cool Motor Racing, said: “It’s an exciting time for Cool FAB Racing and all of our riders and we’re delighted to have Shooting Star on board promoting all of the hard work we’re putting in to making the championship even bigger and better than previous years.

“As well as writing pre and post-race news releases, Shooting Star is responsible for keeping the content on the website up-to-date, managing our official Twitter and Facebook pages and working with our existing sponsors to ensure they get value for money for their investment.”

Meanwhile AJ Purchasing, an established procurement and supply chain business with over 25 years’ experience, has appointed the agency to assist with the delivery of its new branding in what is set to be a monumental year for the business.

Steve Gibson, Director of AJ Purchasing, said: “I’ve worked with Shooting Star for a number of years on a variety of projects, but decided that using their experience and expertise was imperative this year in the delivery of the ambitious growth plans I have for the business.

“I’m delighted to have appointed the team at Shooting Star and very much look forward to working with them in the months ahead.”

Other clients currently on Shooting Star’s roster include IdeaSquares, Bishop Grosseteste University, accountants Duncan & Toplis, The Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Fennies nursery group, glass manufacturer Beatson Clark and fresh chilled food producer Freshtime.

Shooting Star Marketing Manager Sharon Foster said: “We’re over the moon to have been appointed by these two fantastic companies this month. We put a lot of time and effort into promoting our clients’ businesses and take pride in each and every one.

“2016 is a big year for Shooting Star – as we approach our 10th birthday later in the year we’re continuing to implement our growth strategy across both our offices and are seeing the results of a lot of hard work by the team. It’s an exciting business to work for and I’m delighted we’re continually winning new clients based on our experience and reputation.”
