Staff Injection at Saxilby Software Specialists

You could say it’s starting to get rather crowded at OrderWise, where 11 more new faces have been recruited.

Thankfully, the company’s £1.3 million extension is just about ready, so staff at the Saxilby-based software specialist can breathe easy!

Director at OrderWise David Hallam said: “As our substantial growth in numbers continues, it’s hard to believe OrderWise has gone from 80 to over 160 employees in one year. This month 11 new members of staff will join a wide range of departments having completed their initial three weeks of training and assessments. As always, this recruitment drive aims to continue our ability to meet demand and help service our ever-growing user base.”

Among the new starters are Daniel Cowan, Kyle Durham, Abbii Whalley and Lewis Barnard, who all join as technical support advisers. Daniel comes to the company having spent the last four years studying psychology at the University of Lincoln. Kyle brings his experience of e-commerce and warehouse work with him to the role. Abbii’s recent experience in a similar role at BT will no doubt prepare her for work at OrderWise, while Lewis brings his experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Jane Wallis joins as Client Account Manager, with previous experience working for a stock control software company implementing global ERP systems. Jane joins the team ready to hit the ground running with a plethora of qualifications including a postgraduate diploma in marketing and a Change Management Practitioner certificate.

The sales team is welcoming Olwyn Rees as a sales co-ordinator. Having previously been a support team coach in customer services, Olwyn will be able to bring her team skills to the table and effectively manage the operations of a fast-paced department.

Connor Barnard is joining as an implementation assistant, having previously worked for a business that uses OrderWise software to manage its operations. This inside knowledge will help Connor jump straight into his role.

Josh Taylor and Ciara Highfield join as accounts specialists. Josh has five years’ experience working within the finance department at GCI, whereas Ciara has previously worked as an accountant and accounts manager. Ciara is also currently studying towards her ACCA outside of work, which will improve her ability to help our clients with accountancy-based questions.

Steven Roberts, who has worked as an app developer in the past, is adapting his skills to being a front-end developer. His previous work on websites, online promotions and mobile applications will aid his expertise in developing and maintaining e-commerce stores for a range of OrderWise clients.

The e-commerce team welcomes James Gore as a web designer. James has a degree in 3D design from the University of Manchester, and he also spent six years freelancing as a graphic designer to fully develop his skills and knowledge in this area.
