Not one to miss a trick, we’re making sure that we’re making the best use of the skills within our expanding team.
And what better way to do that than to sign up a new client to our books?
One of our latest client wins, North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), is a new NHS organisation that called upon our services to help build its profile over 12 months.
Thanks to my past role I have the skills the hit the ground running. I spent over five years working for the communications team for NHS Lincolnshire and now I’m pleased to be using my in-depth experience and knowledge of the NHS to work with one of our newest clients.
It’s likely that many of you will have no idea what a CCG is, what it does and why you should care. Well that’s what we’ve been drafted in to help with.
A CCG is a new organisation made up of GPs, nurses and health professionals from your local GP surgeries that see patients regularly. It’s different because people who are medically trained and understand patients’ needs best are the ones making decisions on how taxpayers’ money is being spent on health and social care services.
Not only that, but this CCG has a unique way of working where people from the local community are involved in the decision making too.
To help local people understand the changes we’re developing a new website for the CCG with information about its services, structure and a blog, growing its presence on social media, promoting its work through media relations and supporting the organisation with staff engagement.
