Allen Signs Gets HIRED By Lord Sugar’s Apprentice

Signmaker and vehicle livery specialist Allen Signs has branded a London black cab on behalf of inventor and former winner of The Apprentice, Tom Pellereau.

Aventom, a company founded by Lord Sugar and Tom, who won BBC TV’s The Apprentice in 2011, has launched two new products to be added to the Stylfile collection.

Allen Signs worked closely with the innovative company to produce a design which they applied to the side of a London taxi to promote the Stylfile Mani-Cab campaign.

Glen Merryweather, Sales and Marketing Manager at Allen Signs, said: “It’s not every day you get the opportunity to work with high-profile clients like Aventom.

“It was a pleasure helping to develop and complete this project and seeing the images of the taxi on social media has been an added bonus.”

Stylfile, a range of nail files designed with a unique curved shape that follows the natural shape of the nail, is the latest of Tom’s inventions. As part of the Mani-Cab campaign, which launched in London on Thursday 4th December, members of the public who spotted the branded taxi could swap their old nail files in exchange for the two new Stylfile products and a free taxi ride.

Tom Pellereau said: “The Mani-Cab is my way of thanking the British people for their support and allowing them to try my latest inventions – the new Stylfile Infuse and ManiPro.

“Allen Signs did an awesome job and really captured the idea I had for the Mani-Cab.”

Kat Digby, Production Manager at Aventom, added: “I am very pleased with the quality of work that Allen Signs produced. The printed artwork looked brilliant especially when it was applied on the black cab.

“I worked closely with Glen on the project, and he was extremely helpful, responsive and thorough,” said Kat. “I would definitely consider working with Allen Signs on projects in the future and recommend them to others.”

Glen added: “We hope to continue building our relationship with Tom Pellereau and provide our services to his business for future campaigns.”

The Stylfile Infuse and ManiPro and are exclusively available to buy in Waitrose stores.
