Greater Lincolnshire LEP

Calling All Amazing Women!

Women in business are to be celebrated as part of Lincolnshire Women’s Enterprise Day.

Taking place on 17th November at Belton Woods, Grantham, the event is being supported by the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, part of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

The Enterprise Day aims to attract over 200 women from across the county to take part in a wide range of workshops and discussions and invite them to hear from other successful businesswomen. The day’s events coincide with Global Enterprise Week which runs November 16-22.

Chief Executive at Community Lincs Fiona White said it was a culmination of helping communities and businesses across the county that led to this event being organised.

Fiona said: “We’ve worked with a huge variety of female entrepreneurs and small enterprises and this kind of event makes sure people have the right support and advice in place.”

Fiona added that the organisation and promotion of the event is being done by volunteers. “This shows the level of support we have in Lincolnshire for women in business,” she said.

Samantha Harrison, Commissioning Manager for Enterprise at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for women in Lincolnshire to gather and hear what successes are happening in the county. We’d urge women on all levels of business to attend to get vital advice and meet with other ambitious, like-minded individuals.

“It promises to be a day to remember!”

The event will provide plenty of inspiration, expert guidance and the opportunity to connect with other women in a warm, supportive atmosphere. The Enterprise Day has a ‘pick and mix’ format to allow delegates to create a day of activities that meet their business and personal objectives.
