One of the longest established law firms in the East Midlands, Andrew & Co Solicitors, which has offices in Lincoln and Newark, has been shortlisted for two awards.

The practice, which can trace its roots back to 1832, is a finalist in the Best Digital Presence category in the LawNet Awards 2016 and is one of three businesses shortlisted for the Excellence in Business Award in the Large Enterprise category in the Newark Business Awards 2016.

Andrew & Co Solicitors has enjoyed a busy 10 months since the start of the year, welcoming new recruits to both the Lincoln and the Newark office which recently moved to larger premises on London Road.

The firm has also recently rebranded and launched a new website to better reflect its innovative, client-focused approach.

Chairman Julie Bailey explained: “Although we’re a long-established business it is vitally important that we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our clients. We’re one of the oldest firms in the East Midlands but we are not complacent and innovation is key.

“I’m delighted that we’re up for the national Best Digital Presence award as we’ve put a lot of hard work into the new website and it’s nice to have our efforts recognised in this way. Digital technology is playing an increasingly important role in our business strategy and we want to have as a good a presence online as we do offline.

“Similarly being shortlisted for the Excellence in Business Award is a massive honour and winning would be the icing on the cake after what has been a very exciting and productive year.”

The winners of the LawNet Awards 2016 will be announced during the LawNet Annual Conference Dinner on 11^th November at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxfordshire. The winners of the Newark Business Awards will be presented with their trophies at a ceremony on Monday 5^th December at Kelham Hall.
