It was far from a bitter evening for chartered accountants Duncan & Toplis as they hosted a networking session with a twist.

 Around 20 guests attended a unique business event – a chocolate tasting evening at Café au Chocolat in Stamford.

 Organised by Stamford director Tom Hindmarch and Tax Manager Ann Burns, the event allowed guests to taste all different kinds of chocolate along with the café’s range of speciality coffees.

Café Au Chocolat owner, Krystyna Szypryt, also provided an informative talk on chocolate pairings and explained the correct way to taste coffee as well as what flavours to look out for. This was followed by chocolate sampling.

Duncan & Toplis Director Tom Hindmarch said: “It is safe to say that everyone now understands why coffee and chocolate make a great pairing. This was certainly a fun event to host and we hope to arrange similar events in the future.”
