Andrew & Co Solicitors has opened the doors to its new office on London Road in Newark and revealed a whole new look!

The firm, which has been established since 1832, has moved to bigger premises in the town and undergone a rebrand to better reflect its commitment to innovation and forward-thinking approach.

Lead Partner at the Newark office, Michael Pace explained: “We’ve had an office on Kirkgate for 9 years but due to our firms growth and commitment to Newark it was time to expand to bigger premises.

“We’re also strengthening the team based at Newark and will be recruiting another three members of staff to enable us to support our private and commercial clients. Although there are a few practices in Newark not many offer such a wide range of services under one roof. We do everything from family and personal injury law to corporate mergers and acquisitions and road traffic law, all our staff are all specialists in their field.

“Our clients like the fact that we provide a ‘joined up’ approach. For example, we can look after all aspects of running a business, from purchasing or leasing a property and drawing up partnership or shareholder agreements to succession planning and even separation and divorce so there’s an increasing demand for our services.”

2016 has proved to be a busy year for Andrew & Co Solicitors. In January the firm recruited six new employees at its Lincoln and Newark offices to strengthen its corporate commercial, family law, dispute resolution and commercial property teams. They’re also launching a new website later this month as part of the rebrand and continuously innovating by creating new sector groups, the latest being the family business group.

“Although we’ve been in business for a long time we’re constantly adapting our services to meet our clients’ needs,” added Michael.

“For example, in response to the growth in the renewable energy sector we set up an Energy and Renewables team offering specialist advice to landowners, developers, growers, investors and suppliers involved in renewable energy projects including wind farms and biomass power plants. More recently we’ve set up a Digital Technology department which deals primarily with website maintenance contracts, software development, licensing agreements and even apps.

“We take pride in being an innovative law firm and hopefully our new image and brand reflects this. We have a clear line of sight between strategy and implementation and if we think it’s in our clients’ best interests we’re not afraid to challenge the status quo.”
