Andrew & Co LLP in Newark has rung in the New Year by welcoming a new addition to its team.

Following a busy 12 months the law firm, which can trace its roots back to 1832, has appointed dispute resolution specialist Ross Pierrepont.

Ross, 30, who is originally from Nottinghamshire, has joined the team after spending four years at a firm in Kettering. Ross was keen to move back to the county and said Andrew & Co LLP provided the perfect opportunity.

“When you’re living and working in the same location you can build better relationships with clients and contacts,” explained Ross.

“Andrew & Co LLP has an excellent reputation and does a lot of work in the commercial sector. In fact, it’s one of the few law firms in Newark which specialises in litigation. The firm works for a wide range of businesses in a variety of sectors and every day is different. I deal with lots of interesting cases involving commercial property and contractual disputes as well as professional negligence claims and I look forward to building on the already established portfolio of clients.”

Ross is one of six new solicitors Andrew & Co LLP has recruited in recent months to its company commercial, commercial property, dispute resolution and family law teams. Also new to the firm are Margarita Louca, Rebecca Walton and Hayley Swallow while trainees Julie Hutchinson and Andrew Tinker have gained full-time positions with the firm after successfully completing their training.
