OrderWise Adds to Workforce with Three Talented Hires

Business software leader OrderWise has bolstered its commerce and support teams to coincide with a major upgrade to its OrderWise Commerce platform.

Having kicked off 2016 with three new hires, the business management software specialist continues its busy period of recruitment by adding three more people, taking its staff base to more than 100.

Giovanni Gaudelli and Vytautas Kirjazovas join the company as technical support advisors while Dominick Greenslade has been appointed as a front end web designer.

Jon Roberts, Sales and Marketing Manager at Saxilby-based OrderWise, said: “These new recruits join us at a very exciting time as our OrderWise Commerce platform has just received a major upgrade with a range of new features added.

“These additions include a new purchasing management system, the ability to manage click and collect orders, custom profiles, and free shipping notifications. Each of these new features is designed to enhance what the OrderWise Commerce platform was created to do – facilitate the perfect online shopping experience from customer browsing and order import all the way through to back-end management and fulfilment.”

Dominick, who joins the OrderWise commerce team, has previously worked in a number of different e-commerce management roles for a variety of large businesses.

Giovanni joins the support team having graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2013 with a degree in business management. Giovanni has spent the last few years working in various managerial positions in venues and restaurants where he gained an understanding of stock management.

Vytautas will also be working in the support team. He is a recent graduate from Edinburgh Napier University, having studied hospitality for four years. Vytautas has recently worked as an intern for EUNIC Brussels, a network of National Institutes for Culture from the member states of the European Union in Brussels.

The recruits have spent their first three weeks learning OrderWise in a classroom environment along with regular periods in the company’s warehouse training facility, to ensure the real-life application has been understood. This was also interspersed with assessments of their knowledge and progress to ensure benchmarks were being achieved.

Vytautas said: “I didn’t expect that OrderWise would have its own warehouse training facility here at its offices. I was really impressed and this has helped me to learn OrderWise in a real environment.”

Jon added: “These training techniques have been carefully developed over time. This is to achieve the best results and recently led to OrderWise being recognised at the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards for attaining training excellence.”

All three new recruits now have a few weeks behind them since their initial training was completed and have begun the second stage of their training in their respective departments.
