A leading Lincolnshire software business is set to provide extra levels of expertise at this year’s Pharmacy Show. 

OrderWise, who exhibited last year, have invited barcode specialists GS1 UK to attend in order to provide extra support and information to visitors to their stand. GS1’s Engagement Manager for Healthcare Phil Bailey will be on hand to answer any queries.

The two companies partnered this year, with OrderWise becoming an official GS1 UK Industry Partner with an accreditation in barcodes. This provides customers using the OrderWise platform with a fast and accurate way of recording essential product information, including traceability data.

Jon Roberts, Sales & Marketing Manager at OrderWise, said: “We had a fantastic show last time we exhibited at the show, so to make sure we can provide customers with even more of an insight into what we do will be fantastic. We will have Phil available on the Monday of the show to talk to delegates and give them a real perspective on what GS1 and OrderWise can deliver.”

GS1 is a global leader in providing standards across a wide range of businesses through the use of their barcode technology, with more and more businesses turning to the use of GS1 barcodes to help improve their warehouse operations. OrderWise has been implementing ways for customers to use these standards in their everyday operations in order to improve performance.

Taking place at the NEC Birmingham on the 25^th and 26^th September, the show is aimed at community pharmacy professionals and their industry. With the current day pharmacy in mind, The Pharmacy Show provides pharmacy owners and their teams unprecedented access to two days of CPD education and support, hands-on training, upskilling and the opportunity to source the latest product and service innovation on the market.
