Every year Shooting Star PR offers free help, advice and expertise to a charity that would otherwise be unable to afford ongoing PR. Past clients have included KIDS Strut, Lincoln Women’s Aid and cancer charity Candles.
Throughout 2013 we have been supporting the Ally Cadence Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy and this November, together with our friends at Burton Road Chippy, we will be holding a pub quiz with a difference.
If you’re a fish and chips fan (who isn’t?) and you think you can rival the eggheads with your carefully crafted knowledge of one-hit wonders and former prime ministers, then come along and compete for some amazing prizes.
Your ticket will include entry to the quiz and a meal of haddock, chips, mushy peas and bread and butter. The event will be taking place at Burton Road Chippy, surely Lincoln’s best loved fish and chip restaurant and winner of several prestigious awards including regional winner of the Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop of the Year.
Tickets cost £15 per person and all proceeds will be going to the Ally Cadence Trust. Teams may have up to four members but if you don’t have enough for a team feel free to come along and we’ll find you some teammates!
The Ally Cadence Trust helps to provide equipment and advice and help to families living with the effects of Spinal Muscular Atrophy and was founded in 2009 after Emma and Karl Humphries lost their youngest daughter Ally Cadence to the condition aged just six months.
To book your tickets for Monday 11th November email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01522 528540.
